Camilla Littau Nielsen
I am a nurse, cand.scient.san., and PhD student at H.C. Andersen Children’s Hospital, OUH. My project focuses on optimising the patient process for families affected by childhood cancer through Participatory Design so that the families can hopefully come out on the other side of the process as whole people and whole families to a greater extent. In addition, in terms of research, I am interested in compassion, which focuses on clinicians’ and hospitalised families’ well-being. I sit on the Advisory Board of the Center for Compassion in the Health Service, SDU. Furthermore, I am in the process of a certified education in Applied Compassion Training at Stanford University, USA. In addition, I am associated with a research project in the Sleep Clinic, OUH, where I run the qualitative part of evaluating a newly developed virtual diagnostic tool for patients with the most common sleep challenges.
