As a midwife by profession, Maria took the initiative to speak up, act, mobilise and organise what today has become a 19 people strong Center for Sustainable Hospitals. Maria Gaden is described by many as a changemaker and a role model, with an inspiring ambition to create IMPACT.

Henrik is leading the transition toward a circular future as CEO of a multi-municipal waste management company. As the former Chief Climate Officer, Henrik designed and implemented the climate action plan for the city of Aarhus, cutting CO2 emissions in half over a decade.
Henrik is known as a changemaker with a passion for climate action, circular economy, and deep knowledge of how to lean into engaging in co-creation across formal boundaries. With a track record as a municipal politician and of heading green transitions in public organisations, he is ready to challenge the health and care sector: Are budget cuts a poor excuse for holding back on a green transition?

Projects and assignments have taken Daniel across the world – to the US, Canada, Britain, India, locations all over the Nordics and most EU countries – This has given him a vast understanding of healthcare’s sustainability challenges in different contexts.
