Our current production, consumption and disposal of medicine affects the environment and poses a serious threat to public health. Together we address challenges and opportunities in sustainable medicine.

Join us when we focus on the burning platform of the climate- and environmental impact of medicine, in all parts of the life cycle. We will discuss how to take joint responsibility for public health, the climate and the environment when it comes to medicine.

We are faced with a complex challenge, which calls for interdisciplinary collaboration. Thus the event will focus on networking, collaboration, sharing knowledge/solutions and joint aims to collectively further the field of sustainable medicine.

Programme

Morning session (9.30 – 12.00)

The burning platform addressed from different angles; public health, environment, climate, legal, political and procurement.

A mix of short presentations and a panel debate.

Afternoon session (13.30 – 16.00)

How can we collectively address the challenges?

A mix of inspiration, facilitated dialogue and debate.
